By accessing or using ShortVox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

ShortVox is an AI-powered video commentary platform that allows users to upload short video clips and generate AI-driven voiceovers, commentary scripts, and synchronized subtitles. The Service processes your uploaded content using artificial intelligence to produce enhanced video output.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all videos and content you upload to ShortVox. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, transform, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

AI-generated outputs (commentary scripts, voiceovers, and subtitles) created through the Service are yours to use. ShortVox does not claim ownership of content generated for your videos. All ShortVox branding, logos, and platform design remain our intellectual property.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

6. Payment Terms

ShortVox offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Limited access with basic features and a capped number of monthly videos.
• Pro ($15/month): Expanded usage limits, premium voice options, and priority processing.
• Business ($49/month): Unlimited processing, all voices and styles, team features, and dedicated support.

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShortVox and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your uploaded content after a reasonable retention period.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
